Maks Legal Association (MLA) is a registered Non-Profit organization in Canada, located in Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The organization was registered in November 2024. Our vision is to seek justice for those, who cannot afford the traditional legal professionals.
About Us
We believe that everyone should afford justice regardless of their financial situation. While we are not a law firm and do not provide legal opinion or advice, we are committed to helping individuals navigate the legal system. We provide help with how to represent yourself in court, such as preparing, serving, and filing legal documents in courts. For legal services that we are can’t provide, we refer clients to discounted legal professionals. Our goal is to empower clients to handle their complex legal matters efficienttly, at a cost that they could afford.
Cost of Service
While MLA is a non-profit, it is not free. The cost of its services will be geared toward the income of the client.The bylaws of the organization are still being developed to determine per hour cost for each individual, depending on their financial circumstances. The organization will utilize volunteers and non-legal professionals to provide services to its clients at a reasonable cost.
MISSION STATEMENT:
The Maks Legal Association was founded in November 2024. It’s purpose is two-fold:
1. To provide Legal Assistance at affordable cost to Canadians, specially those who are not eligible for legal aid or the type of issue is not covered by legal aid.
2. To arrange Legal Services, through third party Legal Professional, who are willing to provide their services at reduced rates.
